Light, refreshing, and full of color — Šaltibarščiai is one of Lithuania’s most beloved summer dishes.
This cold beet soup is made with kefir, cucumbers, dill, and hard-boiled eggs — simple ingredients that create a beautiful balance of flavor and freshness.
Our Lithuanian-Polish family grew up enjoying this dish every warm season, and we’re proud to share it with our customers here at European Food & Gifts.
